Price, size and risk
KAS trades on exchanges like any coin, and its price swings hard: below is a year of it, day by day. None of this is advice.
Why it matters to you
If you are thinking of buying, the price history tells you one thing for sure: it can fall a long way. A coin worth something today was worth much more, or much less, a few months ago.
A year of prices
Drag along the line, or tap it, to pick a day. You’ll see what you’d have paid then, and where it went from there.

What the size numbers mean
is the price times the coins in circulation. It’s a rough size, not money anyone could cash out: selling a big share would push the price down long before it was sold.
Rank is just the order by market cap. It changes every day.
The risks, plainly
- It swings hard. Falls of 80% or more from a high have happened, to Kaspa and to most coins.
- It’s a bet on use. No company, no earnings, no dividend. The price only reflects what people will pay.
- Competition. Bitcoin is far bigger; Ethereum and Solana already host most apps; s already move most dollars on-chain.
- Keys are yours. Lose the seed words of your and the coins are gone. Nobody can reset it.
- Rules and tax differ by country and change.
Not investment advice. If you buy, buy only what you could lose entirely.
